Personal Tour of Ferryside Lifeboat Station
This Winter, we are offering our guests the opportunity to visit the Ferryside Lifeboat Station with one of the crew. You will tour the recently built station, which was opened by HRH The Duchess of Gloucester in April 2010, getting up close to the RIB, seeing the crew's equipment and learning the fascinating history of this totally voluntarily run service. Any donations will go towards the current appeal for a hovercraft to enable low-tide rescue missions.

Groceries and pick-up
Ferryside is so easy to get to by rail (see Find us), we'd like to offer extra services for guests wishing to visit us by train.
To save you the dilemma of how to get your food supplies to the house, give us your shopping list at least a week in advance and we will arrange for your groceries to be at the house in time for your arrival. This will also save you time, which you can be using to enjoy yourself! Alternatively, if you prefer to do your own shopping, we can give you a lift to and from the supermarket of your choice once you get here.
We also offer to pick you and your luggage up from the station. It's only
10 minute's walk from Ferryside Station to SpringTide Villa, but if it's raining or if you have heavy bags it might be easier by car!
